FAQ

What size tanks is it suitable for and coverage?

A: The X4 Bundles provide adequate coverage for absolutely any tank length but with a depth (front to back) coverage of 23".

What about penetration into the tank?

A: At your normal mounting height of 12" you will get adequate punch easily down to 30" deep. We also offer wider lenses (more spread less punch) or narrow lenses (more punch less spread) too!

Is there preset schedules and adjustable ones too?

A: Yes, fully controllable from anywhere in the world via the Dalua Ecosystem app. Heaps of public schedules from some of the best reefers in the world, plus Dalua ones or make your own!

Does it come with a warranty?

A: Lifetime warranty on all LEDs (diodes) and lenses, and 2-year warranty on all other parts

Do I need to use your mounts or rails?

A: The X4 Bundle does include our mounts and every option is available from rear mounting, side rail mounting, hanging rails or hanging directly from the units. Simply select and everything will arrive plug and play.

What's the best mounting height?

A: Very subjective question based on what corals and if you prefer higher spread and less PAR (mounting it higher) or higher PAR but less spread (closer to the surface). We suggest to start at 15" and go up from there.

What's the best settings?

A: Well that's another tough one. How old is the tank? What corals are you keeping? The Dalua ecosystem app has many presets ranging from advanced SPS systems to acclimation mode and everything in between. The golden rule when trying new presets and schedules is to transition to them slowly over 1 to 2 weeks.
