1. How does E-Marco-400 work?

E-Marco-400 is a hydraulic cement designed specifically for bonding reef rock. When mixed with water, it undergoes a chemical curing process that allows it to harden and create a strong, permanent bond.

2. Why does the cement feel weak or crumbly at first?

During the initial application, the mixture may appear soft or slightly crumbly. This is normal. As the curing process progresses, the cement chemically hardens and becomes significantly stronger. Using a slightly thicker mix (less water) can improve initial handling and stability. Let it dry for 24 hours before getting wet.

3. Is it safe for reef aquariums?

E-Marco-400 is formulated for marine use and is reef safe once cured. During the curing phase, it may cause a temporary increase in pH.

4. What are the best practices for aquascaping with E-Marco-400?

For optimal results, use E-Marco-400 as a bonding agent between rocks rather than as a standalone structural support. Larger builds should incorporate additional support such as rods or stable rock placement. Apply the cement in layers, shape it while workable, and design your aquascape with long-term flow and coral growth in mind. Pre-building structures outside the tank is strongly recommended.
